From a press release issued by Scorpion Sports
The 2010 EXOwear Women’s Collection
(Lake Forest, CA April 15, 2010) Although Scorpion’s gold Fiore jackets, gloves and color-matched helmets have been springing up everywhere, the Fiore (which means “flower” in Italian) is just part of the exclusive Spring 2010 collection now blooming at Scorpion Sports. In fact, not all that glitters is gold, as they say and Scorpion has a couple of real gems highlighting their women’s riding gear for this year.
A diamond in the rough and tumble world of technical apparel, Scorpion’s Diamond Jacket certainly stands out, but delve a little deeper into the just-released 2010 catalog and you will also unearth the Jewel Jacket and matching pants. The gold standard by which with all of Scorpion’s women’s wear is designed to, the Diamond, Jewel and Fiore jackets are specifically engineered to be superior riding gear first, fashionable apparel second. To that end, Exo-Stitch reinforced safety seams are incorporated into every design, as is CE-approved Exo-Tec armor in the elbows and shoulders and durable 600 denier nylon panels in high impact areas.
Constructed of a breathable abrasion resistant poly-mesh outer shell, the Fiore, Diamond and Jewel’s water-resistant polyurethane fabric features taped seams while a removable EverHeat thermal liner vest keeps riders cozy should any April showers show up to bring May flowers when the ladies are trying to ride. However, if things should heat up, a lightweight perforated inner liner and full ventilation system offers plenty of airflow from two front scoops and a rear exhaust vent.
In addition to the contoured cut designed to fit a female form, all three jackets feature an adjustment system helps further the flattery. Not only are the gems easy on the eyes, the Fiore won’t break the bank when it comes time to present her with flowers, as prices start well under $200 for all three jacket styles!
Available in both Gold and Pink versions, the Fiore’s are in full bloom this spring. But don’t stop with just the jacket, bust out the whole bouquet with a complete package of color-matched Fiore helmets and the new Fiore gloves. Jewels sparkle in Black/Pink and Black/Silver colorways, while the Diamond Jacket comes in both Black and Red. Sizes for all the Spring women’s wear ranges from X-Small to XXL.
MSRP for the Diamond Jacket: $159.95 to $169.95
MSRP for the Jewel Jacket: $169.95 to $179.95 (Matching Jewel Pants: $159.95 to $169.95)
