2011 Middleweights on the Dyno

The August issue of Sport Rider features a middleweight comparison test, with the 2011 Honda CBR600RR, Kawasaki ZX-6R, Suzuki GSX-R600, Triumph Daytona 675R and Yamaha YZF-R6. As part of the test, we ran all the bikes on our SuperFlow CycleDyn dyno. While the Triumph and Suzuki are new models, the Kawasaki won our last middleweight comparison test, in 2009: 2009 Middleweight Smackdown. It's worth noting that the Yamaha, supposedly unchanged for 2011, is significantly stronger this year on the dyno. Check out our last year's results: 2010 Yamaha YZF-R6 on the Dyno.

Included here are wallpaper images of our track test at the Streets of Willow, along with horsepower and torque charts for the five bikes.
