Moriwaki's new Honda-powered MD211VF racer made its debut at Suzuka as a wild-card entry piloted by Japanese rider Tamaki Serizawa. Utilizing a Moriwaki-designed chassis with the V5 RC211V motor, the MD211VF suffered some teething problems during the race.
