2009 KTM RC8R Cylinder Head
Even though the bore is 2mm larger, the RC8R's cylinder head features a smaller combustion chamber that works with the forged Mahle piston to boost compression ratio from 12.5:1 to 13.5:1, a significant increase. Valve sizes for the titanium intake and stainless steel exhaust remain the same; new camshafts sport adjustable sprockets.
