Dowco Fastrax Elite Series Sport And Adventure Tour Luggage Tail Bag $132.99
Like the rest of the Fastrax line, the tail bag is constructed from 1680 Denier polyester and features a hidden rain cover. Expandable four inches, the tail bag can be used individually or as an addition to the saddlebags with the provided straps. But be warned; installation when used with the saddlebags, while not difficult, is quite cumbersome. Otherwise the tail bag has pockets lining three walls of the main compartment and another two inside the flap. The waterproof zippers add to the many features of the Fastrax line. And even though it can be an inconvenience to install, there’s zero movement once it’s done.

Roll Tail Bag
$74.95
This duffel bag turned motorcycle tail bag plants itself firmly on the rear seat and straps down with the use of four bungee cords (two front, two rear) to the rear passenger pegs and license plate bracket. Total installation time: under five minutes. What you get in return is a soft-lined inner compartment that can carry 36 liters, or practically anything you can think of for a weekend getaway. Of course, this doesn’t include the three external pockets (the two side pockets being expandable) to hold even more stuff. The bag includes rain covers and has provisions to be used with saddlebags (sold separately). When done riding, the attached shoulder strap converts this tail bag into an everyday bag.

Laguna Tail Bag
$119.95
Carrying out the Laguna theme, this tail bag is also sleek and stylish. Expandable up to three inches, the tail bag has a capacity of up to 40 liters. Soft fleece lining covers the inner compartment, which conveniently has a movable partition. If that’s not enough, three external pockets add even more space and are easily accessible with gloved hands. Attaching to the motorcycle is a simple matter of hooking the four bungee straps to solid points on the bike. Reflective piping brings attention to the bag at night, but not so when it’s raining—there’s also a built-in rain cover.

Manta Tail Bag
$39.99
Simplicity is the name of the game when a tail bag only sets you back 40 bucks. It doesn’t get much simpler than the Manta tail bag. The water/wind resistant bag is made from 1000 Denier nylon construction. Inner compartment dimensions are rather sparse with just enough room for a shoe. Yes, just one. A mesh pocket on the inner panel would be suitable for a small wallet. Velcro straps attach underneath the rear seat, the rubberized mounting base keeping things still. Though short on features, one necessity that is included is the built-in rain cover.
