Tail Bag
Axio Tail Bag
$149.95
Axio’s tail bag is sleek and aerodynamic. Reflective piping at the rear of the bag helps with night visibility, while the back pad is just another little item that compliments the attention to detail. The main internal compartment is large enough for a jacket and necessary supplies for a day trip, with the two smaller pockets inside the lid capable of holding small items that might come along. Velcro straps are plenty long to attach to passenger footrest brackets. In fact, the rear straps might be slightly too long when wrapping around the slim rear seats of today’s compact sportbikes. A mesh cargo net is included for extra storage on top of the tail bag.

Rearbag
$175.00
Completely waterproof, the sturdy Rearbag is reinforced with an aluminum frame for strength. The huge inner compartment is expandable up to 38 liters with two smaller side pockets just in case that isn’t enough. Like the tank bag, one of the side pockets is removable and wearable as a hip pack. The nylon looped straps are plenty strong and plenty long, making finding an attachment point easy. Metal clasp-locks grip tightly on the straps ensuring the bag won’t go anywhere. Just to be on the safe side, a protective film is included to protect the bike’s paint.

RipStream Tail Trunk
$104.95
The RipStream tail trunk can be mounted alone, or as an accessory piece to the saddlebags. Made from 1000 Denier Cordura, the tail trunk has a capacity just over 12 liters, not including the side pockets. The aerodynamic design incorporates four pockets (one on each side) to hold a number of items. Installation is a simple matter of wrapping the front and rear Velcro straps around the rear seat; the rubberized base will keep it from moving. YKK zippers make sure everything stays closed, while a bungee net atop the bag adds space for a change of clothes.
The Cycle Guys
Fast Pack
$72.95
Need the extra storage space of a tail bag but don’t want the unsightly image of a bag protruding from your passenger seat when not in use? The Fast Pack may be the answer. Available in three different sizes to suit virtually any sportbike, its elastic base fits over the passenger seat and remains secure. When expanded, it can hold around eight liters. Or leave it flat to carry smaller items. Unlike other tail bags, when not in use the Fast Pack just becomes a padded rear seat cover—at first glance it’s easily mistakable for the standard pillion pad.
