Dowco Fastrax Elite Series Sport And Adventure Tour Luggage Tank Bag
$142.99
The Fastrax tank bag is loaded in the features department. A large plastic map flap dominates the top of the bag, but flip it over to reveal another clear panel suitable for holding GPS devices or cell phones. Its main compartment provides four inches of expansion with multiple pockets on each wall. There’s even a pocket underneath the flap for the optional hydration pack. What’s more, there’s a built-in rain cover, but that would hide the side panels that change color with the turn of an insert (multiple colors are provided). Capable of accommodating both metal and plastic tanks, installation is easy. The magnets speak for themselves, and the straps for plastic tanks simply wrap around the frame and under the seat and then attach to the bag.

Access Tank Bag
$79.95
Fieldsheer may not be known for its luggage, but the Access tank bag is one quality bag. While slightly smaller than other tank bags here, it fits well with the slimmer gas tanks on some sportbikes, like our Triumph Daytona 675 shown here. A clear map pocket rests on top, while inside, the soft inner liner provides a scratch-free environment for delicate items like glasses. There are small compartments on the inner lid for pens, wallets and keys. Two side pockets (one with an earbud port) add extra storage, and a built-in rain cover keeps everything dry in soggy weather. The large rare-earth magnets take hold of the gas tank with a death grip, but also cost ten dollars more than the strap base for plastic tanks.

Mini Tank Bag
$34.95
For those times when a quick morning ride is all that’s in order—but there’s absolutely nowhere to put the essentials—the Mini Tank Bag is just the ticket. Available in either a strapped or magnetic base, the Mini Tank Bag features two compartments—one with a clear top and MP3 port, the other with an inside organizer. A shoulder strap is included, making for easy transport when off the bike.
Firstgear Laguna GPS Tank Bag With Backpack
$159.95
When it comes to fit, finish and functionality, the Laguna GPS tank bag takes the cake. Fully expanded, this bag has a capacity of nearly 34 liters. That’s a lot of space in its own right, but the thought that went into the many features is also notable. Instead of a clear map sheath, the GPS pocket at the head of the bag rotates out and angles itself directly into the rider’s field of vision instead of laying flat. Beneath that is another clear pocket with a rubberized base for MP3 players or cell phones. Grommets inside the pockets route cables out of the way. In what’s becoming standard fare, it can also detach from its base and be used as a backpack. Two large pockets on the side and another small pouch at the rear add extra storage space. Utilizing straps, magnets or suction cups, the Laguna can mount to virtually anything, and stays dry with the hidden rain cover.
