It took Brembo eight months to develop the new M50 caliper on Ducati’s 1199 Panigale. According to Brembo, Ducati always requests the most powerful caliper/brake combination possible while the Japanese opt for a friendlier set-up. Apparently, years ago Brembo suggested a less aggressive caliper to Ducati and were told “More power is better, just like with an engine!”
