The Hypermotard 1100 and 796 have been replaced with all new models utilizing an 821cc liquid-cooled Testastretta engine and a new trellis frame. Ducati calls the new Hyperstrada a crossover between motard and touring; as such, it has more suspension travel, a higher windscreen, touring seat, side luggage, a centerstand, engine guard and a higher-output generator.
