Alpinestars' MX-1 one-piece leather racing suit is manufactured from 1.2-1.4mm premium full-grain leather and is tailored for a "90-degree anatomical race fit," meaning the suit is designed to offer maximum comfort and flexibility in a race-tuck riding position. Ergonomically placed Schoeller stretch Kevlar panels and leather flex zones on the waist and knees provide ease of movement during aggressive riding, while the now-common aero hump on the back improves airflow over the rider's helmet. Patented external thermoplastic impact protection is used in the shoulder tips, while removable internal CE-certified GP protectors with injection-molded shell and dual-density foam padding are used in shoulders, elbows/forearms and knee/ shin areas.
