R&G Racing, the world's leading provider of motorcycle crash protection, has released an assortment of new products to strengthen its existing ranges.
Mirror Blanking Plates
Many track day (and some road) riders remove the bikes' mirrors in order not to damage them or be distracted by using them.
With mirrors that double as a mounting point for the fairing, R&G Mirror Blanking Plates are a neat way to cover the unsightly holes left and retain a securely mounted fairing.
Machined from solid aluminium complete with the R&G Racing lozenge logo, these can be fitted to a bike in seconds.
Initially available for the BMW S1000 RR (£29.99) and Kawasaki ZX-6R 2009-10 (£34.99), additional fitments for popular machines are due shortly.
Rear Foot Rest Blanking Plates
R&G is now offering its beautifully crafted Exhaust Hangers together with a new product - Rear Foot Rest Blanking Plates.
R&G's popular Exhaust Hangers offer a stylish and lightweight alternative to unused rear passenger pegs in order to help mount the exhaust can. The new Rear Foot Rest Blanking Plates simply bolt over the void left where a hanger isn't required.
Both products are constructed from aluminium and are priced at £64.99 for the pair - a saving of £5 than if bought separately. Currently only available as a kit for the Yamaha FZ8 and Kawasaki ZX-6R (2009-on), new fitments will arrive imminently.
Knee Sliders
R&G Racing has introduced a new version of its popular Knee Slider for 2010.
With feedback from loyal customers and the California Superbike School instructors, improvements come in the form of a revised Nylon compound for better wear rates while retaining the 'feel' the previous puck offered.
The new 'teardrop' shape of the slider mirrors that of the firm's Aero Crash Protectors and uses the new smaller surface area, along with changes to the contouring on the back, for a more secure fit against leathers.
Available in black or white, the price remains unchanged at £24.99 per pair.
