Scorpion's new Admiral XDR...
Scorpion's new Admiral XDR (Xtreme Distance Rider) jacket for the adventure tour rider.
Top shelf protection combined with a host of features and benefits is what Scorpion’s XDR Collection (Xtreme Distance Rider) is all about. For the rider who really needs the added bells and whistles, the all-new Admiral jacket is the only choice. From the tough 600-denier outershell to the removable CE-approved armor at the shoulders and elbows, the aptly named Admiral warrants a salute from serious riders everywhere.
“Weapons grade” ballistic nylon panels at the shoulders and elbows offer abrasion resistance. Further enhancing the high-speed safety aspect is a full-length back protector pocket (complete with P.E. foam pad insert). Speaking of speed, Velcro® arm adjustment tabs and cuffs keep things from flapping in the breeze in excess of triple digits.
Attention to the smallest details adds up to make the Admiral the ultimate all-around touring/adventure jacket. For example, all panels are sealed with Scorpion’s ExoStitch® seams. Additional details include NightViz reflective trim on the arms, front and rear for improved night time visibility; built-in belt-loops to attach matching XDR pants, and the two large waterproof storage pockets. Two additional handwarmer pockets are augmented by two generous internal storage pockets as well… you can never have enough cargo space when embarking on a major voyage, right?
While the XDR Collection’s wide array of technical features is really cool, the new Admiral keeps riders plenty warm when there is a storm brewing. The removable Everheat® ThermoShell inner liner provides a soft thermal skin that works in conjunction with the Admiral’s EXOskeletal protection. The ThermoShell combines a wind/water resistant barrier with a luxurious fleece-style lining for full four-season riding in a wide range of temperatures. And when the mercury does rise, Scorpion’s KwikWick® washable moisture wicking comfort liner and AirVent® panels front and rear help keep riders cool.
Hot or cold, inside or out, when it comes to ExoSkeletal protection, Scorpion has your back. Best of all, all this coverage won’t cost you an arm and a leg. With a MSRP under $200, even penny pinchers will be saluting the Admiral!
MSRP for the Admiral Jacket:
