2012 GSX-R1000
Suzuki’s GSX-R1000 goes from strength to strength. In the eleven years of Gixxer-thousand evolution, Suzuki’s superbike has achieved cult status and won major accolades in the biking press. Not only is it a formidable road tool, it is a major player on circuits across the globe – GSX-R1000 can be a trackday fanatic’s ride of pure excitement in midweek, and at weekends a thoroughbred in every racing class.
Whether you are a pleasure seeking road rider or circuit specialist, Akrapovič can provide six combinations of hand-crafted exhausts to suit your needs.
The most affordable and easiest way to net performance gains is by way of an Akrapovič Slip-On Line replacement muffler, with carbon composite or titanium alloy body. These two unique mufflers are simple bolt-on additions to give that racing look and sound with full EC Type approval.
Slip-On Line Features
• Choice of carbon composite or titanium alloy hexagonal body
• Carbon fibre mounting bracket
• Carbon composite heat resistant end cap
• EC Type approved
• Weight reduction of 1kg (2.2lb)
To extract even more performance from the high-tech, 16v, inline, four-cylinder Suzuki, Akrapovič has introduced two ready to race full length exhaust systems in the guise of Racing Line and Evolution Line, both available with carbon-fibre composite or titanium alloy mufflers. With downpipe, collector and link pipe sections formed from superior austenitic stainless steel, the Racing Line system is a quick route to track success. The same can be said for the Evolution Line exhaust with the exception that all sections are constructed from lightweight titanium alloys.
Both systems are designed for flush fit to ensure maximum ground and race bodywork clearance but still allow access to major engine components. QD race-spec spring attachment allows easy disassembly of the four main sections. Finished with a choice of carbon fibre composite or titanium muffler body, each one attaches to the subframe via a carbon fibre muffler mounting bracket and carbon fibre replacement passenger footrest bracket.
Racing Line & Evolution Line Features
• Downpipes, collector and link pipe are all austenitic stainless steel (Racing Line)
• Downpipes, collector and link pipe are all aerospace specification titanium alloy (Evolution Line)
• Both systems have facility to retain Lambda sensor
• Racing-style QD stainless steel spring connections throughout
• Choice of Akrapovič unique hexagonal carbon fibre or titanium muffler body
• Weight reduction (Evolution Line) of 3,9kg (8,6lb) over standard exhaust system

20011-2012 Piaggio MP3 Yourban LT 300ie
Piaggio was one of the first major manufacturers to successfully bring a mass-produced 3-wheel scooter to the motorcycle market. The benefits of the two-wheel front and single driving wheel at the rear are many, but the most important are the safety factor: with dual braking at the front, wide front end footprint and exceptional stability, these attributes virtually reduce user error under braking and cornering.
The MP3 Yourban is, therefore, a trendy, desirable option to small-wheel scooters and gear-driven motorcycles and can be ridden in safety by male and females. To broaden the owner net by a considerable distance, Piaggio extended the front tracking system to reclassify the MP3 Yourban as a tricycle. This then allows car licence holders in certain countries (e.g. UK) to ride the Yourban without passing a motorcycle test.
Not surprisingly the MP3 Yourban LT300ie is a popular machine amongst the young and old from both sexes, and with this a demand has grown for a quality racing-style exhaust. Here then is the Akrapovic answer: a Slip-On Line exhaust muffler of the same exacting design applied to every Akrapovič exhaust.
Slip-On Line Features
• All stainless steel construction
• Heat resistant carbon fibre end cap
• Dual welded mounting brackets for precise alignment
• EC Type approved – when used with optional Akrapovič in-line catalyser to comply with local market emissions regulations

WARNING
Please note that certain aftermarket exhaust systems may not comply with applicable California laws and regulations, and may therefore be prohibited for use on California highways or roads, or on roads or vehicles otherwise subject to emissions control requirements.
Akrapovič exhaust systems for automobiles and motorcycles mounted downstream of the catalytic converter (also known as “cat-back systems”) are considered “replacement parts” in California by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), and do not require an exemption or executive order from CARB to be sold in California. However, California prohibits the use of any aftermarket exhaust system that modifies, removes or replaces original equipment catalysts, unless CARB has issued an Executive Order as to such part or system.
Further, Akrapovič parts or exhaust systems used or intended for use on “racing vehicles” (i.e. a competition vehicle used exclusively for competition on closed-course circuits) do not require an exemption or Executive Order from CARB to be sold in California. However, such parts are prohibited from use on California public highways or roads, even if occasionally used “off-road.”
