While Senior Editor Trevitt has been working unofficially with racer Javelin Broderick for the past year, the magazine and Dynojet/ZAG Racing have recently made it official: Sport Rider will sponsor Javelin and the team for the 2012 AMA SuperSport season.
Having just turned 16 years old - the minimum age for an AMA professional license - 2012 will be Javelin's first year in AMA competition. Previously he has raced in WERA events, winning the WERA West B Superbike regional championship in 2011. Dynojet Research has signed on to be the team's title sponsor, and Javelin will race the full AMA season aboard Yamaha YZF-R6 machinery prepared by Dynojet at its Las Vegas facility.
