Rancho Dominguez, Calif. - September 25, 2012 - Saddlemen riders took to the Homestead-Miami Speedway for Round 11 of the AMA Pro Road Racing season. The Triumph Big Kahuna Miami proved a challenge as riders were forced to battle a wet track and several weather delays. Saddlemen’s James Rispoli overcame the elements as he added two more wins to his successful season.

Jake Zemke led the Saddlemen SportBike riders in Miami with a 6th place finish Saturday. Fellow Saddlemen riders Joey Pascarella, Cory West and JD Beach finished 10th, 13th and 20th, respectively. In Sunday’s race, Beach recovered to finish 9th while Pascarella followed him in 10th. West and Zemke experienced some difficulties and finished 22nd and 23rd, respectively.
With the season finale at NOLA Motorsports Park fast approaching, Road Race Factory/Red Bull’s JD Beach leads Saddlemen racers in the SportBike class in 7th place. DucShop Racing’s Zemke is right behind Beach in 8th, and Riders Discount Vesrah Suzuki teammates Joey Pascarella and Cory West round out the top 10.

Celtic Racing/Orient Express rider James Rispoli dominated the SuperSport competition this weekend, tallying wins number seven and eight at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Teammate Corey Alexander finished 5th on Saturday and 8th on Sunday as fellow Saddlemen rider Jake Lewis (Riders Discount Vesrah Suzuki) took 4th and 6th.
With just one event and two races left this season, Rispoli holds a commanding 60-point lead in the SuperSport West standings. In the SuperSport East standings Jake Lewis sits 8 points behind the leader while Alexander held onto the 5th spot.

Sunday’s close race was a reflection of the series standings as Saddlemen’s Tyler O’Hara fought hard for a second place finish on the day. This marked the tenth podium appearance of the season for the Bartel’s Harley-Davidson rider and leaves him just two points behind the leader with one round of racing remaining.
